Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Drift, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Drift is an ADHD-friendly task management application. Features include task creation and organization, AI-powered task decomposition and walkthroughs, calendar integration, and daily routines.

3. Accounts

You can sign in with a Google account, an Apple account, or an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Supporting Drift & Subscriptions

Everything Drift offers today is free, forever — there is no trial and no paywall. Becoming a Supporter is an optional monthly subscription offered as a way to chip in and help a tiny team keep building Drift for the ADHD community. The free tier is never clawed back.

Supporter is billed through Stripe (web) or the App Store via RevenueCat (iOS). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page or your device subscription settings.

We reserve the right to change Supporter pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change applies to their subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use automated means to access the service without our permission
• Abuse AI features by submitting harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all tasks, notes, and content you create in Drift. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

For AI features, task titles and descriptions may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate suggestions. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Drift available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any unavailability or loss of data caused by circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

Drift is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and we cannot restore your data afterwards.

If you have an active Supporter subscription billed through Stripe, we cancel it as part of deleting your account; you will not be charged again, and we do not refund the current billing period. If you subscribed through the App Store, only you can cancel that subscription — do so in your device subscription settings before deleting your account, or Apple will continue to bill you.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
